Smith Furniture was founded by Everett Smith in 1943, originally as a used furniture store. In 1948 a partnership was formed with his son, Robert, and it was at that time new furniture was added to the product line.
In 1972, Smith Furniture became a family owned corporation and is now in its fourth generation. Today it includes one of Robert's sons, Ed, and one of Ed's sons, Jordan.
We are proud to offer a large selection of home furnishings in our two Huntington locations. Our store at 312 N. Jefferson offers 7 floors, 20,000 square feet, of new home furnishings. Our store at 216 E. Franklin offers a large selection of both budget new and gently used home furnishings encompassing nearly 6,000 square feet.
A unique feature of Smith Furniture is that we are always looking for used furniture. We offer generous allowances for any pieces you may want to trade in.
